I often hear from others that they consider work to be a major cause of stress. Whether you work part time or 40 hours + per week, work is a common stressor for many people. It is important we take the time to slow down and de-stress from our jobs. A great way to do this is by activating our parasympathetic nervous system (PNS). The PNS is responsible for slowing our heart rate, calming the mind, and relaxing the body. There are many ways to activate the PNS here is a list of my favorites!
