What does your life look like? How do you feel about yourself? Who are you with? What has changed? Take a few moments to create a mental picture of your best self in your mind. Now, softly, blink open your eyes and write down in your journal everything you imagined your best self to be in great detail. Take at least 5 minutes to write about every detail pertaining to your imagined life. Lastly, take a look at the upcoming month ahead and create a plan for yourself. What is one or two steps you can take to help achieve at least one of the ideas you visualized for yourself? This is the perfect time to incorporate the use of your strengths. How can you use your strengths to accomplish your long-term goal in the upcoming month? Begin to free write and jot down concise ideas and add them to your calendar. After scheduling in your calendar how you can work on yourself this month, make sure that you are completing those tasks as they arise! It is easy to use your sense of imagination to visualize who you want to be. However, it can be just as simple to start taking steps to achieve your goals.
